Where is the best place to live near to Denver Tech Center? This is for a family with a kid who goes to elementary school. So looking for affordable house prices, quite neighbourhoods and good school districts. I heard some good things about Cherry Creek School district..what is your opinion on this? Any family living around Englewood, Centennial, Green wood village, South Aurora or even Parker, please respond. Your help will be appreciated. Sona

Sona, Cherry Creek School District is one of the best school district in Colorado. Greenwood village is very close from DTC. If you could afford to live in Greenwood village, that would be best. Otherwise, South Aurora and Centinnial are also good neighborhood. I know few nepalese family living there.

I would say the Douglas County School District is better than Cherry Creek. If you are working at DTC the Smoky Hill area, Aurora, or the Parker area would probably be convenient for both you and the kids if they do go to some school district other than Cherry Creek. I have heard both good and bad things about Cherry Creek.

Sona, I would say Highlands Ranch would be the best as it is on Douglas County and as Saveearth said Douglas county school district is number one in Colorado. DTC is about 5 to 7 minutes drive and as far as saftey is concerned it has the lowest crime comparing to all the other city mentioned above. The cost is very comparable to other cities and plus given the advantages of having the good school and low crime there is no comparision. Hope this helps.

Thanks butcher..I was looking at centennial and parker. I will start googling Highalnds Ranch. I didn't know douglas county school discrict is #1 in CO. This is great information and since it is 5-7 mins and I can avoid I-25 alltogether, that is what I care the most. Thanks for all your help folks. Sona Sona
