This is hilarious. The author of the blog got scolded in almost all the comments (9 comments), and so this Tori Laure Salokya Shrestha has turned off the comment section saying "Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time"

This Mr. Salokya cannot take the heat fo the comments on his blogs. ha ha... this is hilarious.

He only puts/allows the comments which praise him.... otherwise like Maoists he cut off the comemnts from the Site.

This is totally ridiculous. Whoever this Umesh is, needs to be stop "name calling".
Go to a quieter neighborhood where people have the decency to keep it clean and you find no roadside romeos passing comments on people, so what do u do? Call it a death city.
Ridiculous to the extreme!!

Someone even mentioned rich "proudy" people live there. When those two clowns or was it some "commenter" haven't even met the people living there, where in hell did they find them "proud"?

A retired British army with his lifelong savings buys a house there and lives, "Umesh ji ra sathi kina jealous bhako"

Had to comment.

What a jealous guy this Umesh Shrestha from mysansar.com and he can't take any negative comments ha ha ha he closed the comments section.

He can't stand other people who are better off than him, whose living standards are higher than him, who have more money than him.

It's people like him who can't do it themselves and who can't stand others doing anything either that keeps Nepal in a rut like it is right now. And he things he's the greatest journalist there's ever been. He can suck on this @===8

I had left many comments in his blog questioning some things but he doesn't even publish anything that is against his views or which question his views.

I've stopped visiting his ego inflating website where he's never shy to sing his own gungaan.

That Umesh has now removed the blog on Death City, perhpas due to this thread on sajha.

While trying to find the blog, I came across another thread about his Beni-Pokhara Yatra, where in one of the video is about boating in the lake... it seems they were focusing on the girls into their video camera... what's the purpose? Well, we can understand why young guy like Salokya Shrestha's eyes would land on the young teen girls. But why to put those video in his blog for everyone to watch? what's the purpose?

Hope this guy would not turn into Prakash Ojha.

I once commented on his 'Zoo Issue' and I was pull out of the comment list.
When anybody comments his idea - he says it is his personal blog. Nobody needs to have a headache. But he does not hesitate to ask for donation to run blog.
I have not given any donation to him yet and I really do not have headache on him regarding donation. But still what I feel is- though it might be his personal blog- but if he is trying to present it as a e-journalism then he should be ready to hear comments. ALso topic should be something that all should like not the one whatever it comes in his mind.

salokya jee,
I had a similar uncanny feeling when i first arrived in US,there were no people on the street and in many places no footpath too.And where ever they were u had to press a button on the traffic lights pole and wait for the WALK sign to appear to cross the road.
Only when i came to New York that i felt i was at home, people on the street,on the subway and a lot of deshis(common terms for south asians).
Its good to know that we have planned housing in Nepal.I have visited the website of civil homes too, they seem to be doing well.
Lastly I like your blog simply because I can connect with you as an ordinary Nepali and not with many journalists in Nepal who are backed by interest groups.Have you noticed a trend in Kantipur publication. They will publish the atrocities of maoists in www.ekantipur.com and kathmandupost but not on the Kantipur magazine,in today’s issue (yesterday in Nepal) u will see the story of the british gorkha family looted by the maoists in ekantipur and kathmandupost and not in Kantipur.I have noticed this many times and you can also follow it up and i know u will also notice it.Kantipur is read by a lot of nepalis and hence is it an attempt to hide the facts from the common man and by publishing it in kathmandupost and ekantipur, show that they are publishing the terror of maoists? If this is not a conspiracy then what is it?? who are they serving ? I admired them for their role in Jana andolan 2 but now i am questioning myself, was it for democracy or for their own interest??
I admire your bold blog and its equal treatment to everyone.Keep it up,best of luck.

Umesh Ji,
Like you I can’t also afford to live in such places but I think your title “Murda Nagar Ko Yatra” expresses jelousy rather than research. Thanks for your photo and video

Good work Umesh,
I like your blog and informations provided by you. Heading shows your jelousy. you could say “SOONE BASTI” or “SANTA NAGAR”.
I don’t have a house like in picture but i just don’t like the Heading.

He called it "Murda", I can call it "Quite", Mr. A can call it "too crowded", Ms. B can call it "Sanghuro" etc.. anyone can call it anyting they want. Can't they? If I start calling these houses "townhomes" why should I have to justify it? It's my opinion.. isn't it?

Comment from the blogger regarding views against him:
I feel like this guy is real real proudy.
I want to give the title for his this blog as - A bull s**t's jealousy

PROUD, not proudy. But i don't mind people using "proudy" afterall english grammar is confusing and it's the people who use the words convenienty for daily use. So, Proud = proudy. That's a good thing about english, rules get changed as per usage.

like prem charo mentioned above. www.mysansar.com is his website. He can and will write whatever he wants there. Whatever he writes in the blog is just his opinion, which can be ignorant in some cases. I don't think we should be much concerned about that.

Can't compare the level, but this mysansar dude and Khagendra Shangraula are pretty much of the same time. They have lots of comments, jealousy etc. about others, but when someone points fingers at them, they will hide and say, oh its my sansar not yours, or oh I am just writing fiction not facts.
