i don't want to sound offending but this world cup has disappointed me so far. at least i haven't have a pleasure watching any game as of today. too many rough games and bad refreeing have attributed and intervened this WC so far. and the number of goals scored so far by a team is also low, prolly the least till date in any WC (?) as of this stage.

Argentina----against mexico they showed how much vulnerable they are as a team.
Italy---not what it used to be when Roberto Baggio was in.
Brazil---gr8 team no doubt. but where is the magic they used to have?
Germany--prolly the one team that have displayed some quality so far.
England--they suck as a team in D-area.
Netherlands--Poor finisher.
Portugal--Good team but ronaldo is injured and Deco got the red card, so very little hope for them now to advance to the next round.
Spain--good perfromance so far. will surprise france and may shock brazil in the next round.


i know that most of the gr8 games in WC happens from quarter finals on. so my fingers are crossed. i hope quarter finals and there on will be more like the world cups we were blessed to watch in the past. sad it is, but have to say that till now, i would rather prefer watching the SAAF games than this kind of poor show and bad refeeing. what do u think?

it is good that almost all great teams are entering to the quarter final.

England in D-area? how do you expect them performing better in D-area with only one striker (in Eng-Ecuador match)? they did somewhat better in the first round.

true that. most of the gr8 teams (in paper ? :S) are into the quarters.

england to me at least looked like a team without imagination and skill in the D and nearby areas. thanks to beckham's free-kick that saved them in the game against ecuador.

Loote bro I think its Germany all the way bro. I haven't seen Brazil play the 2nd round but the way they have displayed their game I definately think its the Germans who will celebrate even though I would like Argentina or Brazil to win. Sad but true :(

Perhaps Spain or Portugal has few surprises up their sleeve this time.. i am really hoping one of them goes all the way..

and yes .. big teams "on paper" has all come through... it is surprising that there were not major upsets..
