With the World Cup 2006 approaching right around the corner, here is my predictions for the games that are being played on June 9th. Germany: 3 Costa Rica: 0 This should be an easy win for the host nation even if Ballack doesn’t play. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if Costa Rica manages to pull a consolation goal against an inconsistent German defense. Poland: 2 Ecuador: 1 I think the only major advantage Poland will have over Ecuador is the overwhelmingly dominating number of fans in the stadium. Although Ecuador doesn’t have a lot of experience playing against the European nations, we shouldn’t forget that this country has beaten two powerful countries in the world, both Brazil and Argentina, during the World Cup qualifying matches. Any team who retains the power of beating these two powerhouses can never be overlooked. Guys, post your predictions. Note: It is sad to see Cisse being forced out of the world cup after breaking his leg in a warm up match against China. I bet he has already posted the picture of this Chinese dude in his room, which he will be using as a shooting target during his recovery.

4 years of wait is finally coming to a cease tomorrow when the host nation and the 3 times World champion Germany take on the minnows Costa Rica followed by Poland against Ecquador. Well as far as i'm concerned, the real Wcup doesn't kick off until the following day when my beloved and revered Argentina set out on a fresh campaign to dissolve their early exit memory from the previous summer and most importantly the recent wound inflicted by the Sambas, who look stronger and deadleir than ever with their "The Quartet" as mentioned by Parreira. I believe Quartet because of the famous four who'll be playing up front if i'm not wrong it has to be Kaka, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Adriano. Now that's an attacking lineup even the best defence will want to take a piss before the game. Tell me guys, which team can boast an attacking line up like that. My Friend Anselmo well as for u ur wcup doesn't start until the next Tuesday rite when Your Boys take on Croatia. Lovers of the Game behold the magic and Players of the Game (ANA Soccer Players) learn the magic.

the only reason y ecuador can beat argentina and brazil is cause they play the same style of football.... if any south american teams are facing eachother, you can't be 100% on any teams winning chances... its just like African nations.. they all can play great against each other but not-so-disciplined teams can't do very well with the europeans... its a fact... havin said all this Ecuador isn't too bad of a team but i don't see them goin too far.... I don't see poland goin too far either.. they are one lucky team twice in a row now.. i think europe has too many nations there and some don't deserve to be there.... i don't like poland.. if they will be any good they're just gonna be a surprise team like korea and turkey of 02.. which really sux sometime cause then we won't be watching great footballers in the final rounds... and i hope refrees don't screw up like they do in every world cups by sending great players out for no reason; GianFranco Zola in '94, Zinadine Zidane in 98, thierry henry and Totti in '02, to name few... even Maradona in 82 .... i just hope this year its gonna be fair just like the name suggests... FAIR PLAY. still
