Now that the parliament is reinstated through the king’s proclamation, on the very first day of its session, following should happen:
a. Deuba should resign from the Parliament because he is the one who recommended the king for its dissolution. How will he show his ugly face in the parliament? Where is he going to bury his face?
b. Ranabhat should be ousted from the speaker ship for what he has advocated in favour of the king’s direct rule
And, the parliament should immediately get into serious business by passing the following:
1. No salary and allowance will be taken by the members for the duration of the parliament session during its reinstatement. (This will be a good first step towards confidence gaining by the lot of greedy politicians)
2. Institute a commission to look into the excesses by the government during the king’s direct rule. Instead of lingering it, create a timeframe by which it must be completed. Impose travel ban on the people who were involved in the king’s direct rule without prior approval of the commission
3. Take steps towards the formation of the Constituent Assembly; bring Maoists to the table for a dialogue
4. Take strong steps to eradicate corruptions from the government sector first and propose steps for austerity in all departments of the government
5. Initiate policy outline for good governance at least for the interim period
