Indian Embassy funding parties


Kathmandu , 4 Dec: NC President Girija Prasad Koirala is facing difficulties even to run his household expenses, reports Nawaras Weekly.

Koirala, who during his time in power, distributed his earnings to Nona Koirala and daughter Sujata Koirala, has not been receiving pocket money at his old age.

According to sources, the Indian Embassy in Lainchaur has been bearing all his expenses. Koirala collects the amount through party general secretary Ram Chandra Poudel. Poudel had collected 1.5 million rupees from the Indian Embassy during Koirala?s India visit. Besides, Poudel had also received 6.5 million rupees form the Embassy in the name of party.

Likewise, it is learnt that leader of Rastriya Janashakti Party and an agent of RAW, Surya Baadur Thapa, had been provided 1.7 million rupees by Sarbendra Nath Shukla for the expenses of the organization.

The Embassy has also been supporting CPN UML it is learnt.

Despite the fact that we have love/hate relationship with the Indians does not make them any better or any worse then they already are. I am talking about Indian policy towards Nepal.

What you should keep in mind is that no political parties in Nepal remains untouched with Indian policy. It is the national interest of India to take control of the political situation in Nepal.Whether it is Maoist, or CPN uml, or King..they cannot survive wtihout the blessing from Delhi.You can not stop it. It is reality. That is why it is senseless to talk about Indian role in Nepalese politics. You may have noticed how maoist suddenly changed to proIndian from Anti Indian within two years. At the begining every parties gain popularity among people by protesting india. As all of youknow Nepalese have antiindian feelings-with no reasons. But frankly speaking Indians have broader chest than Nepalese. You can do anything in india without citizenship. But indians need citizenship in Nepal. You can also have government job in India. But the local governments of Bihar and UP is somewhat bad. We have such a big market in India. We should take advantage of that market. AAfu pani kehi nagarne ani arule gareko pani dekhi nasahne Jaat ho Nepali. Natra Yaha marwari le business garer teti mathi pugisake...

In my opinion Nepal should be united with India. Please tell what bad things will happen when we dissolve our country in India. We gain a big country. In a big country there are more opportunities. There is strength in Unity. This patriotism is nothing. WE are now Nepali because King Prithivi Narayan united all small countries in Nepal. Otherwise I would have been Makawanpure, you would have been palpali, Gorkhali etc. Now we are proud of being Nepali. Similarly next generation will be proud of being Indian. The amount of propoganda threads on Sajha after Paras' stupidity show that the Regime has been shaken.

Die hard monarchists have no defense in this issue. People are outraged. And so what do these royalists do in sheer desperation? Try to distract by accusing parties of being pro-Indian. You guys are so predictable. Can't you even get a little creative? Do you know that Paras' wife is an Indian in the first place? Do you know that G's grand dad took refuge in India?

Now, what will the Palace do next for damage control? It is so predictable as well. They will lock up Paras for a few weeks in his palace. After things get a little better, they will bring some positive photo up of Paras doing some social work. Just keep watching.

Paras' vandalizing the police office is a different issue than the Indian intervention.
If this is true then Paras must be punished, there is no question about it.
However this issue of Paras cannot cover the Indian intervention issue.
Looking at the thread it does seem that it is fruitless to talk about being a Nepali, some of us will not mind being called a Bahadur rather than a Nepali or a Gorkhali.
It is a problem when we refuse to accept the problem. Since every problem HAS a solution, how can a problem are solved when its existence is denied??
