I wonder what Pushkar Shah is doing these days? IS he still riding or has he now resorted to flying ... flying a kite, that is!!

I don't know Pushkar very well but I have met him. Here is small story if our meeting:

One of the person that donated $300.00 US to his effort asked him why he was doing what he was doing and Pushkar went on to tell a story about how he felt abandoned by his father and that he wanted to do something for his kids and that he did not want his kids to grow up without their father.

When the donor of this $300.00 US asked him whether or not he was also abandoning his kids by under taking this "world" tour and the kids are missing out on the "father" for 11 years ... when they really need him most.

Pushkar turned as red as one could and had no answer.

Pushkar Shah is a public figure. As long as it doesn't go down to his family, his lies/claims along with his achievement are up for debate. After all we all have rights to know the truth/fact, whether as beauitful and gallant as it appears and is presented by Pushkar Or it is nothing but a propoganda as many eye witness had testified earlier.

My take is, it is a gravy-esque of both. His fame or infamy are all part and parcel of job he has undertaken. Some he achieved by hard work, some appears grotesque at best. I am all ears. Pushkar is currently in UK - I know that much. Don't know where he's is heading next from here .. heard him spk to the British Forces Nepali radio station briefly the other day. Didn't listen through the interview though. So couldn't furnish more details.

A man of steely will and great determination. I would sit down to write a book one day if I were him - so much to talk about. Stories/experience gained over almost a decade - quite a feat, don't you think?

What do you do for living ? You have so much time to look after what Pushkar Shah does everyday.Where does is sleep, where does he pee... where does he poo ...You should salute him man. A barely literate guy from remote village of Nepal made a courage to travel the world on cycle. Even he is a cheater, I praise his courage. Leave the guy alone and finish his mission, if you cannot help him no reason to discourage him.
