I have been working in my fren's parents gas station. Here are some of the shit i am to live through.

-Saurav, tum kuch kaaam karo toh think se karo, yeek bar karo toh dubara na karna pare.
-Cooler mein jawo ho, drinks bhi bhar dena, tum hardin khali beer bharte ho.
-Saurav, Customer aaye to ciggarrets nahin bharneka.
-Saurav, jao office, store room ma mop lago do. dwo baar karne ka. phir hi saaf hoga.
-SAURAAAAAAV !!, ye mein ne sab drinks lid organize karke rakhi thi, kisne cyalbichal kiya. kaaam karte ho !!
- Saurav, aaaj busy nahin hay, tum 9 baje ghar chale jayo (it's 9:10 pm) on the clock. :(
- Saurav, dekho dekho woh kya kaar raha hai, uusko bol ki paisa hoga to hi store mein aaye, nahin to bahar chale jaye ( yelling to black folk's kids standing in candy section)
-Ghuma ghuma ke mop maro, aayse to nahin hoga.
-customer nahin hoe to kaaam sochte rahenein ka. aayese khade nahin reheneinka.
-aaaj mukesh kumar dekh lega, aaj tumhara holiday (after i already come to work)
-dhyaan nahin rakhte kya, dekho woh gaas rakhkay pharar ho gaya, aab ye $15 kaun pay karega.
etc etc all other bull-shit. too many to mention. lets share yours.

customer: what did you say your name was?
me: sagar.
customer: oh like the movie han? are you in India?
me: no, this call centre is located in the mid-west. i dunno about the movie sir. may i have your billing name please?
customer: Jitender.
me: oh like the movie star, jumping jack han?

Geeee....kinda reminded me of the time when I used to work as a waitress - pouring coffee and mopping the kitchen floor. The managers/owners were not Indians but they were as mean. At the time, it seemed like a nightmare, but in restrospect, I actually think of the experience quite fondly.
So cool_keta, hang on tight. Once this is behind you, it will be nothing more than something to laugh about.

nope cool_keta, a customer service rep. i might go to india and work as a manager in one of their call centres- what with all the outsourcing to india.

Well as for me i did worked at fast food and dine in
Dine in was nice experience , coz it was near by george mason univ , so got to wait on lot of nice looking gurls but u know coll students, hard for them to come up with there expenses so not big tips but still used to be fun with them,
The best cust i had was around 3am ( i used to work late night shift) these 3/4guys and 6/7 gurls used to come from hooters which was like a block away they used to make mah night easy goin ppl and whole lot of tips .

The job i have now is aweosm out of this world. can chat , talk over phone as much as u want ain;t no probs managers r superrrrrrrr coool and gm is also nice , chan ekdui jana ali attitude probs and ali risuthdo manche, but as long as good outcast the bad it;s all good for me......... chutti lina ni paina jati man lageni , vacation last for months for some , afu le ta leko chaina nepal jada line 2 mos,
except for pay plan everything is great as for making money u work on commission but they mgmt gives u a feeling tht u r running your own bzness.

No complains about mah work it;s jus superbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb ali kati paisa badhi hune bhako bhae ta superbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb greatttttttttttttt hunthyo but it;s all good

I had also worked in a coffee shop.These desi employers suck.But remember one thing if u r legally working,then don't forget to fight for ur pay.
A desi employer sacked me when I refused to wash dishes with out paying me .
What did I do ?
I went labour department and complained about him.
Everything online and "Voila"
The check arrived with interest and apology letter.
Don't let them take advantage of u .

lol i also worked in a indian restaurant b4. i didnt had work permit. i refused to wash dishes. his son had to do it :P/ theys till paid me. thats called gorkhali ragat. but eventually i came in argument with him about talkin to him in "thado jaban." I told him straight, gimme my pay and i will get my ass out. he took out calculater and gave me my pay. i cursed out while i walked out.

Fwk departmental store ma tyo pani no centeral warming, december ko last...damn dick....'are jau woh freezer saaf karo' grokhali ragat ma pani ke kum 15 days pay chodera hidi diye...BTW tini haru chai PAKIS haru ..tara tyehi dhoti category ma rakhe farak pardaina.

Ahile ko ta superb cha , yo boss(not south asian ofcourse) ko chori bhayeko bhaye jwai banaula jasto treat garcha ba, kunni k man parecha ra ho.

ahha auta nepali guy thiyo..he was hired at some resturant, ani he thought he was goona be doing some manager job, ani first day ma ..puraa shirt, pant and tiillika jutta talkaera gaecha...hahaha ani kaam ma pugechi ta manager le ta teslai ..hahah dish wash garna rakhecha..ani it doesnt end ther..usko ni gorkhali ko ragat...ke kaam..there was a exit door just right by where he was washing dishes..ani usko palo, instead of washing dishes..he ran out the door, and hahah manager saw him and he also started running after him..haha manager who was running after him, was yelling at him and was also asking him to stay..hahaha.., tara gorkhali ko ragat, kyaa fast bhagecha, manager cudnt catch up on him..that was probably a day to remember for him and the manager both...haha

hahaha....confused, GOOD ONE!!!!! can't stop laughing lol........
