Hi,

I sent my MRP applications and it was received in Nepal in April first week. But they still haven't dispatched it. It's been over 6 months now. Has it taken so long for anyone ?
BTW, I hadn't sent my Nagarikta but I doubt that it should be taking this long.

In the MRP filling instructions itself, it says if u dont send nagarikta they will have to verify photocopy from the nagarikta issuing district office. So it definitely is the problem.

Agree to bairaghi, you MUST send the ORIGINAL .. I had got in 2.5 months easily. Was there any reason you didn't send ?
Since after earthquake hopefully your nagarikta(photocopied) can be verified, else I would still suggest you to be in contact with DC embassy. I think they even reply nice to emails. Just get that.

I emailed the ministry. I hadn't had luck with emailing embassy. Let me try this time.

I didn't have the original so sent the photo copy because I could wait for 5 months. But this is worse.

One of my buddy didn't had the original copy of NAGARIKTA but he had the foto copy of it in which case it should had taken him 6 months to get the MRP. As I came to know that he got his MRP in just 2 months and that was kinda fast compared to people having the original copy of NAGARIKTA which takes at least 3 months.

Depends where your buddy got nagarikta from. If it's from ktm valley, it won't take long. But if it's from Durgam chetra or terai for now, it's obviously gonna take longer. Ghintang bhai le tyo nagarikta terai baat kinya ta Haina ?
