Bro , take a close look at it, might be little informative:
For your visa to be approved, you'll want to make sure everything ticks these boxes:

1) Your Education and/or Experience MUST qualify: To obtain an H1B visa, you typically need to have at least a Bachelor's degree (or the equivalent of one), OR 12 years of work experience, OR a combination of studies and work experience.

2) The Job You Get MUST Also Qualify: Not only do you need a degree and/or work experience, but you also have to be targeting a job that qualifies. The job has to actually require a college degree or advanced work experience to get the visa issued.

3) Your Job MUST be Directly Related to Your Degree: The job and the degree have to match for a visa petition to be approved. This means that your degree has to be directly related to the position that you're seeking, to get your visa approved.

4) Your Salary MUST Qualify: The salary also has to be competitive -- at the minimum, it has to be the prevailing wage for that job that's paid in the workplace's geographic location

5) The Employer / Company MUST Qualify: Also, the sponsoring company has to meet numerous requirements in order for the USCIS to successfully approve the visa petition.

6) Processing Costs MUST Be Paid By the Employer: All visa processing costs are required to be paid by the employer to the USCIS. It's the law. Some employers try to obtain monies from the H1B applicant, however, if found out the employer can get debarred and the applicants visa can be revoked.

7) The Application MUST Be Prepared & Filed Correctly: It's essential that the final visa application and supporting documents are prepared and filed 100% correctly by the employer company, to avoid delays or rejection, and to ensure successful approval and issuance.

Even though you bagged a job in IT, roads ahead are not easy. You can not file for GC. So, its always better to look for job in a related field. I suggest not to travel.

College degree could be an issue for h1b stamping.

Plus, also request your employer to file PERM Labor; at least by next year it might get approved. Even with EB3 you will be close because ROW is almost current in EB3 category. Best of luck.
