Need help, Immigration gurus...

My passport expires on july 2014. I am planning to go to India on Feb and return back on or around May. I am on GC.

My concerns are..

1. Will I get into trouble in Indian airport for having passport Validity less than 6 month. (will land in Bangalore)
2. Will I get in trouble re-entering USA.
3. Can I apply for Temporary Passport with Nepal embassy and travel using it till my MRP is issued. (has anyone travelled with Temporary Passport)

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

thanks.

Thanks for the replies...

Lucky_g@l, did you travel via India?

pshrestha78, I mailed to the Nepal Embassy. According to them, MRP takes approx 3 months, regarding temporary passport it takes a week.
Needed docs,

2 extra pics
written application
return mail envelope and
20 $ money order.

Since you are going on Feb and returning on May. You have plenty of time to apply for MMR.
I have been to Nepal for a month, i apply for MRP vey next day i was there  and within 2 week i have my new passport on hand. You need to do the fast processing it will cost you Rs 10,000.

Remember you need to carry both your old and new passport while coming back to US.

Good luck
