Does anyone have any experience with online gambling? A few years ago when I first came here I saw a Nepali dai playing online poker and he said he was winning a $1000 at that time. I dont know why but the other day I remembered that and went online to see what it really is. After some research I found out that there is not really a federal law against online gambling. There are only a few US friendly sites. Is it okay for a F-1 student to gamble online? Do you get your winnings since I read an article that there is an act which makes banks to block and deposit from sites like that. How does the paying taxes part work if you do get your money? So I signed up with this website for online gambling and they gave me $20 welcome bonus to play for money. You can play for fun too. Well I lost that but I thought I figured out a way to win on roulette. So they called me and said if I deposit $100 for the first deposit I'd get $100 cash back in free chips if I were to lose the initial $100. So I did. However I lost all $200. I selected all 30 out of 36 numbers on the roulette and the 6 that I didnt choose keep coming up. I doubt if it is rigged. I dont wanna lose any more money but I also keep thinking what if I won. Share your experience with online gambling please. Thank you!

You are a freaking student! Study!!! Don't waste your time on these online gambling stuffs! You might win one day but you will lose big time the other; net effect: you will lose money. How else will they survive? Besides, you need to be studying. Take this as a serious advise, you will thank me after few years. Please don't waste your life.

I take your advice. However, its been so tough for me lately to pay for everything. Monthly expense is like ~$1200-$1300 and then college fee per semester is $9000...I've been looking for ways to make it..this pressure is making me do things I never thought I would. :(

Monthly expense $1200-$1300???? really? Do you own a house or what? I am eager to see your expenses. You are a student and should live like a student not like a bank manager with 6 figure salary. Please don't ruin your career playing those non sense. Yeah $9K/semester is expensive but you can study hard and try for scholarship or transfer to cheaper university. You have already wasted valuable amount of time researching those online bull$hits. So please don't waste anymore. Time is precious!!
