I didn't understand what OBAMA CARE would do. Does this mean, we can get cheap insurance from 2014?

I got an email frm my office accountant to enroll (if u want) for insurance, I feel $ 130 per payroll (2*130 for a month) is bit expensive.

I don't know should i wait untill next Jan 2014 if obama care would be good option for us with medium/low income. 
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT does this CARE would do for us.

 you should ask them is it full coverage or just 40-60% coverage, i went online and it said $59 for 60% coverage and 40% you pay from your pocket.

Depending on your state you can probably start enrolling oct 1st on Obama care exchanges where you can check out rates etc

dunno much about it , but beginning 2014, not having health insurance is going to be a federal offence just as with your auto insurance. That's what I heard.  What does this basically mean is everyone will get health insurance at affordable cost and no one is left out. Those with higher income will see  increase in  their premiums and they're the one mostly worried about at the moment. Folks under poverty line/low income would probably have to shell out some money for their insurance but compared to others who had been paying their insurance already, it's minimal. Meaning, those under the poverty line may even get subsidies and health care plan at the same time. Rich folks are crying/yelling/screaming as they are assuming their premiums are being wasted on subsidies for poor/homeless people.  Eitherway, Insurance companies are at benefit as they're going to make huge sum of money.

Basically, Obamacare is a ripoff for healthy and young people. The logic is, take as much money from healthy people and use it to pay for the sick and old. For people having poor health ondition, this might be a good option.

Depending on your state, price may be different, but on average we will end up paying $250-$300/month for Silver package. They have more expensive Gold and less expensive Bronze package as well. Right now we can get Silver package equivalent insurance for around $60.
In short, we have to pay $200/month extra for Obamacare. For low income (<46k/year) you might qualify for low payment.
